Physical Card vs eGift Card
Both carry the same value and the same terms. The only difference is delivery format and how you present it at payment.

How to Check Your Olive Garden Gift Card Balance
Three methods. All free. You need your 16-digit card number and 4-digit PIN for the online and phone methods.
Check Balance Online
Go to olivegarden.com, navigate to the gift card section, and enter your 16-digit card number and 4-digit PIN. Your exact remaining balance is displayed immediately. This is the fastest method.
Check Balance by Phone
Call 1-800-248-4935 and follow the automated system. You will be prompted to enter your card number and PIN using your keypad. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Check Balance In-Restaurant
Hand your card to any server or cashier at any Olive Garden or Darden restaurant and ask for a balance check before ordering. They can scan it or type in the number manually at the register.
Where to Buy an Olive Garden Gift Card
Olive Garden gift cards are sold at the official website, major grocery chains, warehouse clubs, and online retailers. Costco and Sam's Club periodically offer multi-card packs below face value — those are the only reliable ways to pay less than the printed amount.
| Retailer | Card Type | Denominations | You Pay | Discount | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| olivegarden.com | Physical + eGift | $10 to $250 | Face value | Face value | Official source. Custom amounts available. |
| Target | Physical + eGift | $10, $25, $50, $100 | Face value | Face value | Target Circle members earn 1% back. |

| Sam's Club | Physical multi-pack | 2 x $50 ($100 total) | $87.99 | 12% off | Member pricing. Check current rotation. |
| Costco | Physical multi-pack | 2 x $50 ($100 total) | $79.99 | 20% off | Rotational deal. Not always in stock. |
| Kroger | Physical | $25, $50, $100 | Face value | Face value | Fuel points earned on gift card purchases. |

Costco and Sam's Club deals are rotational and not always available. Verify current inventory before making a trip. Third-party resale cards carry buyer risk — verify your balance immediately after purchase.
Understanding Your Remaining Balance
Your gift card balance never expires and carries no monthly fees. If your balance does not cover the full bill, you pay the difference with any other accepted payment method. Split payments are supported at every Olive Garden location.
You can stack multiple gift cards on a single check in-restaurant or on a single To Go order at olivegarden.com. Ask your server before they begin running the transaction so they can process each card in order.
If your balance is lower than expected and you did not spend it, call 1-800-248-4935 immediately and keep your purchase receipt. Darden investigates balance discrepancies and will replace verified lost value with proof of purchase.

Gift Card Scam Warning
No government agency, utility company, court, or tech support team will ever ask you to pay a fine, fee, or debt using a gift card. Olive Garden and Darden Restaurants will never call you and demand payment by gift card. If anyone contacts you requesting gift card payment as the only option, it is a scam. Hang up.
When buying in a retail store, inspect the card before purchase. Look for signs of the scratch-off PIN area having been tampered with. Purchase only from sealed card displays and keep your receipt until the balance is fully spent.
